David and his family were my neighbors in Poplarwood for a few years up until we moved away. We attended a little church he had started before he even had the building… BCC. ¬†We hated to ever miss a Sunday. Even Wynona came on Sundays to hear his messages.

When we found out we were moving to Georgia, we’re hated most of all to leave the church we had grown to love and serve. David and Paula, however, told us we’d love a particular church in Atlanta- North Point Community Chrch- and they were spot on.

I’m so sorry to hear that he’s passed away- my heart breaks for Paula and his sweet girls. You are each in my prayers.

God has God’s time,
But it’s not my time.
I would have David speak until my ears were deaf.
But God has God’s time,
And God’s time for me was to hear…
That Jesus was all I need.
Thank you David for the message <3

12 years ago My family and I were invited to attend BCC at the old middle school under the false pretense of an early Sunday am “concert.” I guess the friends who invited us knew that if we realized it was a “church” service that we would not have come. That was the day that transformed mine and my family’s life. God was speaking in a powerful way through Dr Foster. He hasnt stopped speaking to us since. I am so deeply saddened for his sudden passing- after all, he was so vibrant just two days ago when he gave his last powerful message…I am thunderstruck by the last few words on his last outline-psalm 23:1-4′ ” the Lord is my Shepard;I have all that I need. He leads me besides peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley I will not be afraid, for you are close besides me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.”
Happy Trails to you, until we meet again.” Thank you for your powerful guidance. Paula and your family are forever in my prayers.
