Adrift at Sea

by Adrift on April 6, 2012

I was sailing along on a calm sea, every week getting closer and closer to that ultimate goal of reaching that distant shore where an amazing relationship with Jesus awaits. Then, all of a sudden, a huge storm raged and tossed my boat about, breaking my rudder and sending my compass overboard. Pastor Dave was my rudder and my compass.

Now I sit here adrift at the whim of the wind, hoping I can catch a breeze that will help me continue on my journey. I know I’ll never be able to replace that rudder and compass because they were one of a kind, but hopefully I’ll be able to find someone to help tow me in… Sail on, Brother Dave.
